Pakistan and England are ready to play in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 on November 13, Sunday at the iconic MCG. Pakistan and England each lost to a lower-ranked team in their respective group stages. To qualify for the semi-finals, one had to be patient, while the other had to rely on fortune.
Pakistan dominated New Zealand in the ICC World Cup semi-final 1 while in the second semi-final in Adelaide, England defeated championship challengers India by 10 wickets. Both teams are eager to add another T20 World Cup championship to their collection. Before the finale let us take a look at key battles to keep an eye on.

Rizwan vs Rashid

Throughout the competition, England spinner Adil Rashid has been clinical in their bowling attack. Despite taking only two wickets in five matches, he has been fairly economical (6.25). In the semi-final match against India, he took the key wicket of Suryakumar Yadav and allowed just 20 runs in four overs.
In T20 Internationals, Rizwan has liked batting against Rashid, accumulating 87 runs in 60 balls with a strike rate of 145.0. In 2022, he hit 64 runs off 41 balls against the English leggie, including three boundaries and four sixes majority of them coming in the series preceding the WC.
