Pakistan and the Netherlands will play each other on Sunday, October 30. Pakistan and the Netherlands both lost their games in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. One team will open their account and keep their slim prospects of reaching the semifinals alive. The squad captained by Babar Azam has lost two nail-biting games against Zimbabwe and India. They dominated both bouts, but they erred in the end. Pakistan cannot afford to lose any more games since they would be formally eliminated from the semifinal campaign if they do.
The net run rate could play a role, therefore the Azam-led team needs to win by a big margin as well. Particularly in light of Azam and Rizwan’s top-order struggles in the first two games, the team’s batting has been weak. The middle order hasn’t come on strong toward the end or finished an inning. Only Iftikhar Ahmed has appeared impressive. If Pakistan wants to score heavily, its middle order must play well, but that won’t be simple against the Dutch, who have been excellent with the ball thus far in the tournament.

Pakistan bowled well against Zimbabwe in the same stadium but their batters struggled. They would hope that it is not a repeat of the same performance otherwise it could be curtains for the 2009 T20 World Cup Champions. The Optus stadium has offered great bounce and carry to the pacers so fast bowlers from both teams would be itching to get on the field.
