Madhya Pradesh will be at loggerheads with Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy 2022 final at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, starting from June 22. Madhya Pradesh defeated Bengal by 174 runs in the 1st semi-final at the Just Cricket Academy Ground, Bengaluru to book their final berth while the second semi-final between Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh ended in a draw but the record champions booked their final berth on the basis of their first innings lead.
Madhya Pradesh booked their Ranji Trophy 2022 final berth for the first time since 1998-99 performance. MP banked on some fine batting display from Himanshu Mantri, Akshat Raghuwanshi, Rajat Patidar, Aditya Shrivastava combined with brilliant bowling from Kumar Kartikeya, Saransh Jain and Puneet Datey to book the final berth.
The 41-time champions, meanwhile, were through after fine batting performances from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Hardik Tamore and Armaan Jaffer. Mumbai bowlers Tushar Deshpande, Mohit Avasthi, Tanush Kotian were on song in the semi-finals against UP as they scalped three wickets each.

Ranji Trophy 2021-22 will be telecast on the Star Sports 2 SD and HD TV channels in India. The final between Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai will begin at 9:30 AM IST. Live streaming for the Ranji Trophy 2022 will be available on the Disney+ Hotstar app and website.
