Luxembourg will face Slovenia in the T20 World Cup Qualifier Group B 2022 match at the Tikkurila Cricket Ground, Vantaa. Luxembourg and Slovenia are currently placed in the Group A of the points table. Luxembourg are currently at the third place with one win, two losses from their three outings while Slovenia are still to get off the mark with three loses on the trot. 

The tournament will be a part of the qualifying process for the marquee event and it will be the first step in the qualification process also, eventually culminating in a record 20 teams competing at the main event in the USA and West Indies in 2024 as well. As per the official release, 68 nations start their journey at Sub Regional Qualifiers, with 28 teams entering later on once the outcomes of this year’s event in Australia are confirmed and the automatic qualifiers for 2024 are decided.
