Luxembourg will face Guernsey in the T20 World Cup Qualifier Group B 2022 contest at the Kerava National Cricket Ground, Kerava on Monday. Luxembourg will look to bounce back after their loss in the first match while Guernsey will look to start their campaign on a high. Both teams are placed in Group A of the T20 World Cup Qualifier Group B 2022.
The tournament will be a part of the qualifying process for the marquee event and it will be the first step in the qualification process also, eventually culminating in a record 20 teams competing at the main event in the USA and West Indies in 2024 as well. As per the official release, 68 nations start their journey at Sub Regional Qualifiers, with 28 teams entering later on once the outcomes of this year’s event in Australia are confirmed and the automatic qualifiers for 2024 are decided.
