Ireland Women will face Bangladesh Women in the final of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2022 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Ireland Women defeated Zimbabwe Women by 4 runs in the semi-finals while Bangladesh Women overcame Thailand Women by 11 runs to set a final date.
Group A will include Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, and the USA whereas Group B will feature Thailand, Zimbabwe, PNG, and UAE. The final match and the classification games will be played on September 25. The top two teams at the end of the tournament will qualify for the main tournament that will be held in South Africa in February 2023.
