Ireland got off to a great start in the series and won the first two matches. They required one more victory to seal the series and earn their first T20I series win over Afghanistan as well. But Afghanistan had other plans as they beat them.

In the third game while defending a total of 189 runs and won the game by 22 runs as well. Afghanistan won the last game by 27 runs after scoring 132 runs in 11 overs in the rain-curtailed match as well. However, both the teams will be looking to win the final match and seal the series.
