Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals might want to become the teams who stage a resurgence in IPL 2021. After losing their first games, both sides have bounced back. Chennai Super Kings put on a commanding performance against Punjab Kings. However, Rajasthan Royals staged an epic comeback against Delhi Capitals. Chris Morris and David Miller, their two South African players, showed their value and guided them over the line.

Having lost the first game by just four runs, Rajasthan Royals will be hopeful that they can maintain the momentum of their win against Delhi Capitals. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings will be keen to put on a better batting display. In the first match, Suresh Raina was the star along with Sam Curran but against Punjab Kings, their batting was jittery.

Both sides have issues when it comes to the batting. The top order seems to be lacking confidence and are veering from one extreme to the other. Consistency will be the key for both sides in this crucial match. A win for either side will help them continue to sustain the resurgence and set the early trend in the tournament.

Team News

Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings might not make any changes to their line-ups after winning the previous games. After Rishabh Pant got the better of MS Dhoni, Sanju Samson might be tempted to put one over his ‘idol’.
