Over the years, India and Zimbabwe have had a few fascinating matches. The Men in Blue have won most of the games, but when Zimbabwe plays to their full potential, they can compete with the Indian squad. Team India will meet Zimbabwe in their final group-stage match of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday, November 6. The Men in Blue enter at the competition fresh off a close victory over Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe was humiliated in their most recent match against the Netherlands. If India wins the game, they will finish first in their group.

If India loses, Pakistan has a chance to go to the next round if they defeat Bangladesh at the Adelaide Oval. Pakistan has four points after four games in Group 2. Pakistan also has a higher net run rate of +1.117. India’s NRR is +0.730. Pakistan’s higher net run rate will help the team reach the T20 World Cup semi-finals for the second year in a row should India lose their game to Zimbabwe. India therefore cannot afford any slip-ups.
