The more significant white ball cricket format, ODIs, should now take centre stage. On January 10, India will face Sri Lanka in the 1st One Day International at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Patel was the player of the series in the T20Is and he is in good form, in the past, he has troubled Mendis so if the wicket is flat and the ball does not swing then it may not be a bad idea to bring Axar in against Mendis.
