Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has sent an inspirational message to the dressing room for the important clash against Australia.
India is all decked up to host the biggest cricket match of this year, the finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup against Australia. The caravan which for the Indian team which started in Chennai back in October has now finally reached its conclusion. There has been a lot of excitement around team India’s campaign as the men in blue have reached the finals after a gap of 12 years. Maturally, there has been a huge outpour of messages, greetings and messages. Amidst this, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has posted an inspirational message on his Instagram to cheer up the boys in the dressing room. Hardik who was a vital cog of the team was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury which he sustained against Bangladesh.
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has wished the Indian cricket team the best of luck ahead of the historic ODI World Cup 2023 final. He shared a heartwarming and inspiring message to the men in blue ahead of their cricketing career’s most important match on Sunday in Ahmedabad. He said, “I could not have been more proud of this team. Everything that we’ve done so far has been credit to the years of hard work behind us. We are now one step away from glory, from doing something special that we’ve dreamt of since we were children.
Lifting the cup not just for ourselves but the billion people behind us. Always with you with my love and all my heart. Now let’s bring the cup home. Jai Hind.” Unfortunately, for all the fans out there Hardik will not feature in this all-important clash against Australia. Earlier in the clash against Bangladesh, Hardik suffered an unfortunate injury. Subsequently, after scans it was confirmed that the Indian all-rounder suffered a knee injury which ruled him out of the tournament. Although Pandya trained hard at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, his knee couldn’t heal on time.

Post Hardik’s absence, the men in blue suffered a huge blow in terms of their team combination and playing XI. But, out of misery rose two players like a phoneix who have shouldered the responsibility of the team in their able hands i.e. Shami and Suryakumar. Both Mohammed Shami and Surya Kumar Yadav have reduced India’s pain from the absence of Hardik Pandya. Both the Indian players have performed very well in the absence of Hardik Pandya. Nevertheless, Hardik has shown tremendous sportsmanship and was even present at the semifinals in Wankhede.
