The second ODI will take place on July 15 at the County Ground, Bristol while the third will commence on the 18th at the Grace Road, Leicester. The series is a part of South Africa women team’s full tour to England which started with a one-off Test which ended in a draw.
South Africa women’s team stars Marizanne Kapp, Lizelle Lee and Sinalo Jafta will be a part of the limited-overs series against England after missing out on the only Test. Dane van Niekerk, meanwhile, was unavailable for selection as he continues to recover from the ankle injury that has sidelined her since January. The limited-overs series will be a dress rehearsal for both the teams ahead of their participation in the Commonwealth Games women’s T20 event.
