The second edition of the BYJU’s Jharkhand T20 2022 will get underway from Thursday. The last season, which resumed after a pause due to the outbreak of COVID-19, was a massive hit and thus the sponsors and organisers decided to go ahead with the tournament this year as well.
The BYJU’s Jharkhand T20 2022 will feature six teams — Bokaro Blasters, Dhanbad Dynamos, Dumka Daredevils, Ranchi Raiders, Jamshedpur Jugglers and Singhbhum Strickers — who will be competing for the top prize. Bokaro Blasters will be defending their title in the upcoming season. They defeated Dhanbad Dynamos by 4 wickets to be crowned champions in the inaugural edition of the BYJU’S Jharkhand T20 Trophy.
Ranchi Raiders have made a head-start to the BYJU’s Jharkhand T20 2022. The team from Ranchi have maintained a cent per cent record in their fist three matches. Defending champions Bokaro Blasters, meanwhile, have won one and lost as many in the tournament while Dumka Daredevils, Jamshedpur Jugglers and Dhanbad Dynamos lost their first match.
