T20 heavyweights Australia and England will face off for a three-match T20I series, with the first match slated to take place on October 9 at the Perth Stadium. The second match will take place on October 12 at the Manuka Oval, Canberra on Wednesday while the third match is slated for October 14 at the same venue.

The series will be an important dress rehearsal for both the sides ahead of the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia which gets underway from October 16. However, the hosts will head into the first match of the series without the services of their key players, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell and Adam Zampa but they will return for the second game.
