CJ McCollum is an American professional basketball player who currently plays as a shooting guard for the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA (National Basketball Association). The 30-year old is all of 6ft 3 inches and weighs around 86 kg. It is CJ McCollum’s playing style that has made him an elite level scorer in the league in recent times.
CJ McCollum was born on 19th September, 1991 in Canton, Ohio to parents Kathie Andrews and Errick McCollum I. His high school basketball career set off in motion at the GlenOak high school in his hometown Canton, Ohio.
McCollum then went on to join the Lehigh University in 2009 where he started playing for the Lehigh Mountain Hawks basketball team. After completing his graduation in May 2013, McCollum got drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers as the 10th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft. He went on to become the only player coming off a private school to have been drafted in the NBA. And within just three years’ time, we saw McCollum getting named the Most Improved Player in the NBA in 2016.
Elise Esposito is the wife of NBA player CJ McCollum. The couple have been dating since their college days and tied the knot as recently as in 2018. McCollum popped the big question in the most romantic way in September 2018 while the two lovebirds went sailing around New York City.

Elise Esposito pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2013, she returned to Lehigh for her Master’s degree in Engineering.
Although she has degrees in various fields under her belt, Elise decided to make a career in dentistry. She started off as a dental assistant from 2005 to 2016 under the guidance of her father Michael Esposito, who himself happens to be an award winning dentist.
After attending the reputable Columbia University College of Dental Medicine as a Doctor of Dental Surgery candidate, today, Elise has earned her doctorate this year. She now goes by the name of Elise McCollum, D.D.S on Instagram.
