Serbia vs Latvia FIBA U-20 European Championship match The race for promotion is heating up at the FIBA U20 European Championship, Division B as the Quarter-Finals matchups were confirmed on Wednesday. Three teams remain unbeaten as Estonia, Serbia and Sweden won their respective groups with 4-0 records. Meanwhile, Group B was a three-way tie between Ireland, Latvia, and Bulgaria as they finished with a record of (1) – (3) – (3). Surprisingly, it was the team from Latvia who came out on top in this case. Estonia finished with a perfect 4-0 record in Group A having opened with an 85-83 victory over Iceland which would prove decisive.

Kasper Surorg finished with 18 points and 10 assists in the first match as his team then enjoyed some impressive successes, including a decisive 60-point win over one of their biggest competitors, North Macedonia. Iceland’s first game was against the Netherlands and they showed they were no push-over by managing to defeat them 78-76 even though it wasn’t an easy victory by any means. The team then bounced back from a loss in round 1 to defeat Romania and Luxembourg with 3 successive victories. Group B saw Sweden come through some close victories, thus ending up with 4 wins out of 4 since beating North Macedonia 92-90 behind franchise-high 29 points from Felix Brostrøm.
