Seattle Storm vs Indiana Fever WNBA match will be held on July 17. The Seattle Storm will hold its seventh annual Storm Out Cancer Night presented by Providence Swedish on July 17 when it meets the Indiana Fever at Climate Pledge Arena at 3 p.m. PT for the last time this season. The Providence Swedish Cancer Institute’s Patient Assistance Fund will receive a $20,000 cheque from the Storm Foundation as part of the program during the game. The Providence Swedish Cancer Institute’s Patient Aid Fund offers financial assistance to patients and their families for a variety of goods and services, including utility bills, rent, and mortgage help, wheelchairs, and walkers, administering medications, and home care, and utility costs.
Along with his coworkers Dr. Steven Stanos, Executive Medical Director of Rehabilitation and Performance Medicine, and Dr. Michaela Tsai, Medical Director of the Breast Cancer Program, Dr. Guy Hudson, Chief Executive Officer of Providence Swedish, will be presented with the $20,000 cheque. Additionally, there will be personnel from the Providence Swedish Cancer Institute at the venue handing out brochures and giving free transparent stadium bags to the first 3,000 spectators in an effort to inform and urge them to get screened for cancer early. The Storm and Providence Swedish have collaborated to promote Storm Out Cancer Night for the seventh consecutive year. Over $120,000 has been donated so far by the team, ownership group, front staff, and fans through auctions and cash donations. Tickets are still available for the last three Storm home games as well as the Storm Out Cancer Night on July 17 vs Indiana Fever.
