Breanna Stewart starred on the night as she scored 25 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 27 minutes. Tina Charles and Jewell Loyd added 15 points each for the Storm, while center Ezi Magbegor scored 10 points for the Storm. A win in this game will help the team put pressure on the Las Vegas Aces, who have currently occupied second place on the table.
However, their opponents are a Chicago Sky team that are the table toppers with a 19-6 record. Coming into this encounter, Sky was able to grab an 89-81 win against the Dallas Wings. Kahleah Copper and Emma Meesseman added 23 points each on the night for the team. Allie Quigley scored 16 and made 5 assists in 31 minutes, while veteran player Candace Parker added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the game. This win has further solidified Chicago’s lead on the table.
