Seattle Storm vs Atlanta Dream WNBA match will be held on July 24. On Friday night at home, the Phoenix Mercury will take on the Seattle Storm. The Atlanta Dream defeated the Mercury 85–75 in their last match. With 23 points, Diana Taurasi had the most but it wasn’t enough. Phoenix’s current record for the year is 11–16. The Chicago Sky ended the Storm’s four-game winning run, dropping their record to 17-9. See whether Phoenix can win three straight games on Friday after winning the first two head-to-head contests this season. Diamond DeShields, who was instrumental in Phoenix’s first two victories over Seattle earlier this season, will not be playing for the Mercury on Friday.

We’ll see if her absence on Friday has an effect because she contributed double-digit points to both victories. With 19.4 and 5.5 assists per game, Skylar Diggins-Smith is Mercury’s top scorer and assist provider. In her ninth season in the league, she has produced another strong campaign. Phoenix is now one game away from a postseason place, so they will need to string together several victories over the season’s last few weeks. Although the visiting Storm currently holds the fourth seed, they haven’t been as effective away from home. They are only 6-5 away from Seattle, while Phoenix is 7-5 at home. Breanna Stewart, who averages 21.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, is Storm’s star player.
