Saudi Arabia vs New Zealand FIBA World Cup Qualifiers game will be held on August 25, i.e on Thursday at Dammam Green Hall. Three members of the Kings organization will be in action this week when they compete for their nations in international competitions, even though the opening of the NBA training camp is still more than a month away. In FIBA World Cup qualifiers at various sites around Europe, Domantas Sabonis (Lithuania), Alex Len (Ukraine), and Chimezie Metu (Nigeria) will serve as the captains of their respective national teams. Mike Brown, the coach of Nigeria, is in his first season in Sacramento after serving as an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors for six years. However, a league source claims that he won’t be with the Nigerian squad this week.

Sabonis, a 6-foot-11 center, is one of the best players on a Lithuanian squad that also includes Jonas Valanciunas of the New Orleans Pelicans and Ignas Brazdekis of the Orlando Magic. In the Group K competition, Lithuania will face off against Hungary on Wednesday and Montenegro on Saturday. In his first five appearances for Lithuania, Sabonis has averaged 9.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.6 assists. Len, a center who is 7 feet tall, is one of the best players for a Ukrainian squad that also features Svi Mykhailiuk of the Toronto Raptors and Yusuf Sanon, a second-round choice of the Washington Wizards in the 2018 NBA Draft. In Group L, Ukraine will compete against Italy on Wednesday and Iceland on Saturday. Len has made two appearances for his squad, scoring 9.5 points and grabbing 6.0 rebounds per game.
