Olympiacos Piraeus easily defeated Promitheas Patras in the Greek Basketball League this morning. The team got off to a good start and never looked back, delivering some impressive performances along the way. First, Olympiacos scored 17 of his 3-pointers in this match, a high shooting percentage of 56% (17/30), and his 2018 goal in his one game in the league. He tied the team record for 3-point shots. Additionally, Thomas Walkup recorded 13 assists during the game, the team’s second-highest total in his league history. However, another success was achieved during the match.
Olympiacos didn’t have a single offensive rebound against Promitheas. According to Greek journalist Yannis Psarakis, it was the first time in the professional history of the Greek basketball league that a team didn’t even get an offensive rebound during a game.
