Panama vs Canada will take place at Arena Roberto Duran for a 2023 FIBA World Cup Americas Qualifiers Group E match on Monday. Panama sits in fifth place on the group standings with eight points having won only two games and losing five. They come into this game on the back of a 70-61 loss to the Dominican Republic. The Dominicans started off well and took the first quarter 21-14. The second quarter also ended in the Republic’s favour with the score of 34-26. Panama put up a fight in the third quarter and got the score down to a difference of just four points at 47-43 but was still trailing. However, the Dominicans were just too good on the day and won the game 70-61.

On the other hand, Canada sits in first place on the group standings with 14 points having won seven games and losing none. They come into this game on the back of a 99-87 win over Argentina in their last outing. Canada started the game well and took the first quarter 28-21. The second quarter saw Canada take a big lead and end up with a score of 52-39. Argentina scored 29 points in the third quarter but still trailed 83-68. Canada finished off the game with the score at 99-87.
