According to the French embassy in Manila, Gilas Pilipinas was unable to attend the August 28-September 4 visit, forcing organizers to postpone the tournament to a later date. The men’s national team is now in Lebanon for the first match of a two-game calendar heading into the fourth window of FIBA World Cup qualifiers. The Filipino will return to the country early Saturday morning to face Saudi Arabia on the 29th at the Mall of Asia Arena.
