The Minnesota Lynx are finding it more and more challenging to be in the postseason picture after each game. When they host the Dallas Wings for their WNBA game later tonight, they will be up against yet another formidable obstacle. The four-time winners have so far been unable to get any momentum. The Lynx defeated the Mercury with a resounding victory.
However, they once more failed to maintain the same level of play, losing to the Sky in their most recent contest. Thanks to Kayla McBride and Jessica Shephard, who combined for 30 points and 10 rebounds, Minnesota was able to hold off Chicago. Sylvia Fowles, who had 12 points and 6 rebounds, also looked terrific. However, the Lynx were unable to escape suffering their 14th loss of the year.
Dallas Wings won’t want to blow the opportunity to beat the Lynx on the road tonight at Target Center Arena and go closer to Seattle in the Western Conference. The Wings have been excellent, but they haven’t been consistently strong. Dallas just suffered a loss against the Mercury in their most recent game.
Arika Ogunbowale scored 25 points, had 6 assists, and grabbed 4 rebounds for another excellent night. 15 points and 10 rebounds were a solid performance from Isabelle Harrison. The hosts in the forthcoming game shouldn’t have a chance against the Wings, but it would be interesting to see how the events may turn out and who comes out on top.
