Meralco Bolts vs San Miguel Beermen will be held on August 17, i.e on Wednesday in the semifinal of the PBA Playoffs. In addition to having regained the fountain of youth, Jayson Castro will go into his most recent Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Finals appearance with the opportunity to further his already distinguished career. Since entering the top league in 2008, Castro has won six of his seven championships in the All-Filipino tournament, including last season’s improbable run in Bacolor, Pampanga, when he mostly supported then-TNT rookie Mikey Williams. Castro came up to the plate, notably with his three-pointer that gave TNT the victory in Game 3 and an 11-point third quarter and a crucial three in the fourth in Game 6 that put Magnolia to rest since Williams had to play a difficult Magnolia defense throughout the semifinal series.
