Lithuania vs Spain FIBA U-20 European Championship Knockout match will be held on July 24. In the FIBA U20 European Championship game between Lithuania and Montenegro, it was Mantas Rubstavicius who put on a resilient performance that is exactly why he’s been playing a vital role in this tournament. Coming off of a couple shots he should’ve made, Montenegrins were fired up in front of their home crowd and took advantage of their opportunity with Lithuania leading for much of the game. They managed to make things close with under thirty seconds left on the clock. Sanitas Rubstavicius led his team from beyond the arc as best as he could during crunch time. He did not let any pressure get to him, stayed calm, and continued to play to his highest capabilities – which ended up being part of what earned his team victory over Montenegro. The Lithuanian guard finished with 18 points in all from 4-11 shooting from beyond the arc!

Zalgiris Kaunas’ Lukas Lekavicius is at the top of the leaderboard for his effort in the second round of group D against Montengro. As he shot 48.6 percent from the field, Lekavicius kept the game in balance until it all came down to the final minute when Jokubas Rubinas made his lefty layup to take a lead. Nothing would be easy as coach Dubljevic would call a timeout and send Fedor Zugic who would try to score on a left-to-right drive but was stopped by Rubstawvicius who recorded his first block of the tournament so far!
