Italy vs Estonia will take place at Forum di Assago for a EuroBasket 2022 Group C match on September 2. The national team’s opening encounter in Group A, which also features the host Georgia, Spain, Bulgaria, and Belgium, will be an opportunity to get off to a strong start in the competition. Alperen Engün of the Houston Rockets, Cedi Osman of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Furkan Korkmaz of the Philadelphia 76ers are among the Turkish team’s NBA-based players. Shane Larkin, a prominent player for the Anadolu Efes team who won the 2021/22 THY EuroLeague, as well as Sertaç “anl,” a player for European powerhouse Barcelona, are also included.
Tomorrow’s other two Group A games pit Spain against Bulgaria and Belgium against Georgia. The top four nations in each group proceed to the second round, where they will face off in the round of 16, which will take place on September 10 and 11. The host countries for this year’s EuroBasket are Germany, Italy, Georgia, and the Czech Republic.
