Ireland will take on Serbia in the 2022 FIBA U-20 Women’s European Championship on July 9. The 2022 FIBA U-20 Women’s European Championship will occur in Sopron, Hungary from July 8 to July 16. The social affair stage will occur from July 8 to July 11 and the round of 16 will start on July 12. The Quarter Finals will start on July 12 and the Semi-Finals will start on July 15. In conclusion, the Finals will be held tight July 16.

The groups are separated into four gatherings: A, B, C, and D. Bunch A comprises of the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, and the Netherlands. Coming to Group B, it has Finland, Italy, Belgium, and Sweden. Though, Group C has Lithuania, Spain, Bulgaria, and Poland. At last, Group D has Ireland, Portugal, Serbia, and Latvia.

Ireland has shown more tenacity despite their two losses than Serbia, who are shooting 32.9 percent from the field and 24.1 percent from three. It helps that this is a home game for Ireland even though the arena isn’t packed and many of these women aren’t teammates.
