Herd That (Marshall) vs Best Virginia TBT match will be held on July 26. The son of Tech coach Mark Adams and director of player development for the Tech men’s basketball team, Luke Adams, led the Air Raiders as they took the court on Friday in the Wichita Regional section of the tournament. The squad was assembled by former Tech players Andrew Sorrells and Clark Lammert. However, the Air Raiders’ hopes of winning the $1 million prize were abruptly put to an end with a 70-60 loss to the Aftershocks on Saturday, after a dramatic 90-89 victory against the B1 Ballers in the first game. Adams was proud of his team’s effort against a Wichita State alumni team that had the home-court advantage even though it was a fast finish for an upbeat team.
The Tech guard Devion Warren almost assured the Air Raiders’ participation in the tournament the next year with an average of 27.5 points throughout the two games. Warren promised that “we’ll be back next year better ready to go.” “It’ll return. I adore Texas Tech’s fans and fan base. Since I landed in Lubbock, they have only shown me, love. I value the help I’ve been receiving this week. Warren is already quite proud of his Red Raiders and has no doubts that they will win the significant monetary award if one of the games is held in Lubbock the following year. The semifinals and championship game of TBT will be held in Dayton, Ohio, in August. On Saturday, July 30, the semifinals will take place, and on Tuesday, August 2, the championship will follow.
