France vs Bosnia & Herzegovina 2022 International Friendly Games Women match will be held on August 21, i.e on Sunday. The women’s basketball team will play two friendlies against the Latvian national team at Cheongju Gymnasium in North Chungcheong on Friday and Saturday. This is the first time  the women’s basketball team has invited a foreign team to a friendly match, hoping it will be a warm-up opportunity for the national team when they participate in the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in September 9. However, the national team is currently not in top form. Players Bae Hye-yoon and Lee Hae-ran were injured, while runner-up Park Ji-su will not compete in the friendly after being diagnosed with early stage panic disorder. Park reportedly dropped out of practice with her WKBL team, KB Stars, last month and was taken to the hospital because she was breathing fast and showing signs of a panic attack. This is a huge loss for the national team, as Park is the only player who is competing in both the  Korean Women’s Basketball League (WKBL) and the WNBA. The Korean Basketball Association did not replace Park on the national team roster, prompting head coach Jung Sun-min to call up 15 players instead of 16 at the national training center in Jincheon  in the north. from Chungcheong. Out of 15 Cheongju players  preparing for the friendly, one player has now tested positive for Covid-19.

“We still have to prepare if things don’t go well,” head coach Jung said. “We are currently training very hard and doing everything  we can. The players are especially passionate. “Latvia arrived in Korea after playing two friendlies against  the silver medalist team of the Tokyo 2020  Summer Olympics. Japan beat Latvia in both friendlies, 54-83, 48-74. “I was watched the friendlies and Latvia played well. I think  they are undeniably a better team than us,” said Jung. “But we must encourage the players to focus on their own strengths and prepare as well as possible. Park Ji-su is the only player who can play under the basket, so it’s important to strategize  to use other tall players. The Korea Basketball Association said on August 4 that she is unlikely to compete in the World Cup. “I have a vague view of the registration,” Jung said. “The list will be finalized after  two friendlies. Friendly matches are a good opportunity for us to evaluate the players. I don’t want them to feel too much pressure because we are focused on the World Cup. I just hope it’s a good learning opportunity for the whole team. The first friendly match takes place at 7pm. On Friday and Monday will take place at 7pm. Saturday. At the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in September, South Korea will face China for the first time on September 22, then Belgium on September 23, Bosnia and Herzegovina on September 24.
