The match is between Egypt vs Angola. The national U18 teams from Africa compete in the African Youth Championship, also known as the “FIBA U18 African Championship.” The competition will take place this year with 12 national teams in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, from August 4 through August 14. The two top teams will earn spots in the FIBA U19 World Championship in 2023.

For men, various teams competing on Day 4 of the FIBA U18 African Championship have to find new role models to look up to as the Group Phase draws to a close. And even though the competition is becoming increasingly fierce as we near the Quarter-Finals, our best players for the day lit up the floor with their skill.

At the Gymmasae Couvert D’Antsirabe on Sunday, the established nations Egypt, Mali, and Angola won their matches in their respective groups on the third day of play in the FIBA U18 Women’s African Championship. Madagascar improved their performance to overcome Algeria after joining the winning act.
