The Corsarios Cartagena vs Caribbean Storm Islands LBP match will be held on September 27 at Colombia. Titanes de Barranquilla is a few days away from beginning its international participation in the South American Basketball League (LSB), a competition of the FIBA that is about to begin next Friday, September 30. Titanes de Barranquilla is currently playing the 2022-2 Professional Basketball League with impeccable success, already in the round trip modality. The Elas Chegwin Coliseum in Barranquilla, the home of the Titanes, will serve as the group’s headquarters for the international competition, as announced by FIBA a few weeks ago. In addition to the six-time champion Colombian team, group members also include the Club San Martn team from Argentina, the Sorocabana Basketball League team from Brazil, and Punto Rojo, the league champion from Ecuador.
As a result, from September 30 to October 2, Titanes de Barranquilla will host their team in the South American Basketball League (LSB). This will be their third appearance in a competition of this nature; in the first half of 2021, they also participated in the Basketball Champions League Americas in Sao Paolo, Brazil, as well as in the windows format in Nicaragua, Panama, and Barranquilla. The Titans saw this chance as essential to achieving that long-awaited goal today, with the chance to make history at home, as those coached by Tomás Daz in earlier times failed to go past the group stage. Additionally, it was revealed that Groups B and C would be held in Corrientes and Buenos Aires, Argentina, respectively, while Group D will be held in Campina Grande, Brazil. The Regatas Club in Corrientes will serve as the host and be in charge of welcoming the Obreras Tenis Club from Argentina, the Bauru Basketball Team from Brazil, and the Libobasquet champion from Bolivia.
