The Atléticos de San Germán vs Vaqueros de Bayamón will take place on Wednesday, August 16 in the final round of the 2022 Puerto Rico BSN Playoffs. After the fourth game of the final series of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) between the Atléticos de San German and Cowboys of Bayamon was suspended, the comments made by both parties prompted Carlos Arroyo, a former basketball player, and general manager of the Puerto Rican national team, to respond. In addition to remembering the anniversary of the Puerto Rican men’s national team’s triumph over the United States team in Athens in 2004, Arroyo also conveyed the message. Yadier Molina’s apology is not an issue for athletics, but they stress that “the rules must be followed.” The Bayamón Cowboys management and player expressed regret for their comments made during the suspension of the fourth game of the BSN championship series.
The Atléticos de San Germán’s administration accepted baseball player Yadier Molina’s apology with gratitude, but José “Cheo” Rivera urged that the rules must be followed following the comments made by his counterpart from the Vaqueros de Bayamon. The manager of the Athletics, Rivera, stated that he had no issues with Molina’s apologies following his harsh criticism of the National Superior Basketball (BSN) administration and their exchange of insults with leader Eddie Casiano in an interview with the show Playing Hard Ball. Ricardo Dalmau, the president of the BSN, did not want to clarify whether Molina will get a punishment, but he did say that the case is being examined because this kind of behavior is prohibited in the league.
