CM Punk has been gaining significant popularity lately, drawing attention from notable AEW stars like Ricky Starks and Samoa Joe. They have taken notice of his “Real” World Championship. However, the question remains: can CM Punk handle any potential challenges from other WWE Superstars for the title?

The man at the center of this dispute is Kenta. Despite never having a match against each other, these two former WWE Superstars are embroiled in a very real-life feud. This controversy revolves around the “Go to Sleep” finisher move and its original user. Kenta, a Japanese celebrity, asserts that he created and first used this move, even offering documentation to support his claim.

This Saturday in London, there is a scheduled DEFY Wrestling event. Coincidentally, CM Punk’s title match against Samoa Joe will also be taking place this weekend at All In in Wembley Stadium.

If Punk retains his title, it is possible that KENTA will show up on the program. He also can express his desire to compete for the “Real” World Championship. Tony Khan should consider bringing KENTA into the mix would allow them to showcase his rivalry with CM Punk.

Who in AEW does CM Punk believe has a promising future?

Whom CM Punk believed had a promising future in the promotion and had a lot to offer was recently the subject of his opinion. He gave it the name Darby Allin.

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, the former AEW World Champion expressed his admiration for Darby Allin and praised him as a wrestler in every aspect. After witnessing firsthand his skills in the ring and his ability to deliver engaging promos, he confidently stated that Darby has a lot to offer.

“It’s Darby Allin. He’s still fairly young, and he always makes chicken salad out of chicken s**t. He’s got that ‘It Factor,’ and he’s really getting comfortable. We had a whole big promo segment a few weeks ago [on Collision], and I thought he shined. That made me super proud. He has a ton to offer, as long as he doesn’t kill himself jumping over his house in a f**king monster truck or something like that.” [H/T Sports Illustrated]

He did mention one important condition: he would only be able to achieve this if his career didn’t suffer as a consequence of the daring stunts he performs. Currently, Darby Allin is being pursued by numerous individuals after catching the attention of the Mogul Embassy and Christian Cage, thanks to his role as TNT Champion alongside Luchasaurus.
