WWE and AEW performers came together for the much-awaited debut of “Dune: Part Two,” which took place earlier this week. Former WWE performer CJ Perry is now a member of AEW. She shared on X, some of the highlights from the “Dune” red carpet including WWE stars MVP and Titus O’Neil as well as wrestling icon Dave Batista.

The red carpet premiere of “Dune: Part Two” turned into an unexpected hub for talent from competing wrestling organizations as the film prepares for its widespread distribution this coming weekend. After being gone from AEW programming since December, CJ Perry made a noteworthy cameo with WWE legends and her coworkers from AEW.

CJ Perry’s Red Carpet Return and “Dune Part II” Praise

In her first significant public appearance in a while, CJ Perry shared pictures from the “Dune: Part Two” premiere on X. She was photographed with MVP, Dave Batista, and Titus O’Neil, capturing a unique instance of harmony amongst WWE and AEW performers.

Perry lavished praise on the movie in addition to sharing the glitzy aspects of the occasion. She praised “Dune: Part Two”‘s action scenes, lighting, cinematography, and soundtrack among other elements in the post. In addition to adding a wrestling element to the big premiere of the movie, Perry’s support encouraged fans to see it when it was first released.

CJ Perry’s AEW Absence and Possible Connection to Health Issues

CJ Perry last appeared on AEW in December, when she was a major character in the AEW Worlds End plot. She hasn’t appeared in any AEW shows since, as has her spouse Miro. Perry had surgery in mid-December to control an MRSA infection that was first suspected of being the cause of her absence.

Perry experienced difficulties in mid-January despite a successful operation, which revealed that drugs were ineffective in treating the illness. This led to a change in medicine and more frequent trips to the surgeon. Fans are interested about Perry and Miro’s return to the ring as the reason for their protracted hiatus from AEW TV is still unknown.
