Both superstars have left a significant impact on their division and each has previously held the title of women’s champion. As of now, Thunder Rosa hasn’t competed in the ring for over a year. However, Britt Baker faced disappointment recently when she lost to Ruby Soho in the quarterfinals of the Owen Hart Cup Tournament.
The Role Model appeared on Not Just Football with Cam Heyward where she was asked about injuries in the industry. During the interview, she expressed her strong dislike for wrestlers who push themselves too far and act recklessly inside the ring.
Heyward asked if this was a deliberate provocation towards Thunder Rosa, and she replied that despite her strong dislike for Rosa, the wrestler is actually quite skilled.
“I will say in AEW, I’ve never had a moment in the ring where I was like, ‘I’m going to mess this person up.’ For the most part, we have a really professional locker room, which I’m very thankful for. My differences aside, I don’t like Thunder Rosa, but she’s still a good wrestler, I have to give that to her,” Baker said. [H/T Fightful]
