Thunder Rosa took to Twitter to confirm her participation at All In.
After weeks of speculation, Thunder Rosa has officially announced that she will be providing commentary at the highly anticipated event in Wembley Stadium on August 27, 2023. This confirmation comes as exciting news for fans of AEW all in one.
Since relinquishing her title because of a back injury, the former AEW Women’s Champion hasn’t competed in over a year. La Mera Mera has faced challenges on her journey to recovery until recently.
Thunder Rosa took to Twitter to confirm her participation at All In. In addition, she also mentioned that she would be showcasing her skills on the Spanish commentary desk during the event.
Thunder Rosa was about to make her comeback in the ring, as announced nearly a week ago. In her vlog, Thunder Rosa’s ringside physician, Mark Sampson, mentioned that they would be scheduling some test matches to assess her health.
A few days after the announcement, La Mera Mera appeared on Busted Open Radio to discuss her first time back in the ring in over a year, even though it was just a trial run for her. She admitted feeling anxious but also acknowledged that she performed better.
“If everything goes well I’ll be having my first five-minute match… a year since I’ve been injured. It’s been a year and like it’s hard to look back at it. I’m doing a lot better somedays because of the pressure and because I’m training a lot I get a little scared because I don’t want to get reinjured… I still have the injury, it hasn’t went away. The only thing that went away are the tears in my back… I’m a little nervous, not gonna lie. This is the way it’s gonna happen.”
While Thunder Rosa’s eagerly anticipated comeback may be delayed for now, there are still some positive aspects to consider. Reports indicate that her return is imminent, likely occurring once the necessary inspections have been completed.
