He is presently a WWE contract holder and competes on the NXT brand as Bron Breakker. He is currently in the midst of his second reign as the NXT Champion. Rechsteiner, a professional wrestler in his second generation, is Scott Steiner's nephew as well as Rick Steiner's son.

He was born in Woodstock, Georgia, and played football as a student at Woodstock's Etowah High School, earning letters all three years. He also competed in wrestling, taking home the Class AAAAAA state title in the 220 lb weight class in Georgia in 2016. Bron majored in criminal justice at Kennesaw State University in Georgia after graduating from high school.

He participated in football for the Kennesaw State Owls while a student at Kennesaw. He participated on defense and special teams as a freshman in 2016. He switched to the offensive as a running back in 2017. Rechsteiner was signed by the Baltimore Ravens in April 2020 as an undrafted free fullback. In August 2020, he was released.

Bron Breakker in WWE

Bron signed a developmental contract with WWE, the business declared in February 2021. Later on in the month, he received a training assignment to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Him and several other wrestlers played zombies in a lumberjack match between Damian Priest and The Miz at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view on May 16. Bron defeated L. A. Knight in his debut match on the September 14, 2021 episode of NXT, later, he locked eyes with the newly crowned NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa.

On January 4, 2022, at the New Year’s Evil PPV, Breakker defeated Ciampa through submission to win the NXT Championship for the first time. He defeated Santos Escobar at Vengeance Day on February 15 to make his first successful title defence. On the March 7 episode of Raw, Breakker made his main roster debut by teaming up with Ciampa to defeat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode in a tag team battle.

The NXT Championship was defended by Breakker against Ciampa and Ziggler at Roadblock. Ziggler pinned Ciampa to end Breakker’s reign at 63 days. He then inducted his father and uncle into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1. The following night at Stand & Deliver, he unsuccessfully challenged Ziggler for the NXT Championship but won the title once again by defeating Ziggler on the April 4 episode of Raw.
