Early Career

Starting her career in 2016, Silva only needed three fights on the regional Brazilian scene to be accepted to Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil 1. She won all three and the Batalha MMA Bantamweight belt in the process. She got a UFC contract after quickly dispatching Mayana Souza dos Santos by ninja choke in the first round.

UFC Career

Silva made her UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Anders debut on September 22, 2018, against Gillian Robertson. She won the battle via submission in the first round. Silva fought Maryna Moroz at UFC Fight Night: Lee vs. Oliveira on March 14, 2020. She was defeated by a unanimous decision. She won the Battle of the Night award for her battle. Silva will battle Mara Romero Borella at UFC Fight Night 178 on September 19, 2020. She won the battle by submission in the first round.

Silva fought Montana De La Rosa at UFC Fight Night 186 on February 27, 2021. The bout was called a draw by the judges after three rounds of action. Silva was set to meet Poliana Botelho at UFC on ESPN 23 on May 1, 2021, in place of the injured Ji Yeon Kim. Bueno was forced to withdraw from the fight after suffering a back issue in late March. Silva was supposed to fight Manon Fiorot at UFC 266 on September 25, 2021. Due to COVID-19 procedures, the fight was rescheduled for UFC Fight Night 195. Silva was defeated by a unanimous decision.

Silva fought Wu Yanan at UFC on ESPN 34 on April 16, 2022, in his return to Bantamweight. She was victorious by unanimous decision. This bout won her the title of bout of the Night. On August 6, 2022, Silva faced Stephanie Egger at UFC on ESPN 40. She won the bout in round one with an armbar submission. Silva fought Lina Länsberg at UFC Fight Night 219 on February 18, 2023. She won the battle with a kneebar submission in the second round. This victory earned her the prize for Performance of the Night.

Silva was set to battle Miesha Tate at UFC on ESPN 46 on June 3, 2023. However, on May 10, it was reported that Tate had sustained an unspecified injury, and Bueno Silva was promoted to headline UFC Fight Night 224 versus Holly Holm, another former bantamweight champion.
