Everything went well for FC Goa on Wednesday against Chennaiyin FC, but the head coach is aware that there still are some issues to iron out.
Currently at the top of the Indian Super League table, HFC have 26 points from 15 games while Bengaluru, sitting in third, have 23 points from their 15 games.
Currently, atop the league table, Hyderabad FC lead the pack with 26 points from 14 games.
The Gaurs have 15 points from as many games. With just five league games remaining, they have to heavily depend on other teams’ results for a top-four spot.
Hyderabad FC have now won their last three league games, scoring 12 goals and conceding just three.
The match will be held at the SAG Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa - the same venue where the Gaurs lost narrowly to Jamshedpur FC last Friday.
Placed ninth on the points table, the Gaurs have an opportunity to rise to eighth place by the time the full-time whistle blows if they are able to overcome OFC.
HFC, who are fresh from back-to-back wins over SC East Bengal and Odisha FC, could further strengthen their position at the top of the league table.
This result keeps Hyderabad FC at the top of the table, with a three-point gap over second-placed Kerala Blasters.
With three wins, five draws and five losses, the team from Goa are currently at the ninth place on the points table with 14 points.
