The game between the Winnipeg Jets and Chicago Blackhawks will take place at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Canada on Saturday, November 5 at 3:00 PM ET.
The Winnipeg Jets will welcome the Chicago Blackhawks to Canada Life Centre for an NHL game on Saturday. Winnipeg defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in their last game which also went into overtime. Kyle Connor, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Blake Wheeler scored the goals for the Jets in the narrow win.
Kyle Connor spoke after the game and said, “We’ve got such a good group, and build each other up in situations where guys are dealing with that. For me, I just lean on them a lot. It starts with our leaders. Blake, I think, was the first guy off the bench hugging me. He couldn’t be more excited. It’s good to be able to lean on those guys in situations like that.”
The Chicago Blackhawks on the other hand also won an overtime thriller as they defeated the Los Angeles Kings 2-1. Goals from Jason Dickinson and Jonathan Toews were enough to condemn the Kings to their sixth defeat of the season.
Toews was happy after the win and said, I think we can get back to simplifying a little bit and making it harder on the other team. Right now, it’s fun to just go play. They weren’t any for this team or myself this year. Caber was kind of going back-door there, one of their defensemen got a stick on it, and Caber got a second chance and made a really nice play.”
