The game between the Winnipeg Jets and Anaheim Ducks will take place at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Canada on Thursday, November 17 at 8:00 PM ET.
The Winnipeg Jets will welcome the Anaheim Ducks to Canada Life Centre for an NHL game on Thursday. Winnipeg won their last game as they defeated the Seattle Kraken 3-2. Mark Scheifele scored a brace and Blake Wheeler scored one as the Jets recorded their ninth win of the season.
Blake Wheeler said after the game, “It was nice to get a good bounce and get a reward. The team played well, so it would have been a shame to leave here without anything. That’s the key to not lose confidence on the power play and special teams.”
The Anaheim Ducks on the other hand registered their fifth win of the season as they beat the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in their last game. John Klingberg, Mason McTavish and Ryan Strome scored the goals the Ducks nicked the game in overtime.
Ryan Strome spoke after the game and said, “Sometimes in 3-on-3, you’ve got to dive-bomb them and see if you can get a turnover, and it just hit my glove. We deserved it, though. For all the stuff we’ve dealt with for the last little while, I thought we brought a good effort tonight.”
