Evgeni Malkin is married to long-time girlfriend Anna Kasterova. The couple started dating each other in 2013. They had to survive through a long-distance relationship as both of they lived at different places with Anna living in Moscow and Malkin was in Pittsburgh. It was Malkin who approached Anna in the first place.

After finishing her graduation, Anna started her career as an editor for the channel TNT’s show Moscow and has also hosted the Morning Russia show. Apart from that, she had the opportunity to work with companies like BBC, NTV, and Russia 2. Anna also has a lot of interest in sports and she has hosted shows like Bolshoi Sports Program, and Headbutt Football show. Malkin and Anna have one child at the moment, a small girl.
Evgeni Malkin is regarded by many as one of the best ice hockey centre to have played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on 31 July,1986 in Magnitogorsk, Russia SFSR, Soviet Union. He started his professional career with his hometown club Metallurg Magnitogorsk. After being drafted, he made his Russian Super League debut in the 2003–04 season as a 17-year-old. He has won almost everything internationally for Russia with becoming the world champions in 2012 and 2014.
He currently plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins having joined them way back in 2006. He has been named in the NHL All-Star Team 3 times and has played in the NHL All-Star Game on 8 occasions. He has won the Calder Memorial Trophy once and also won the Hart Memorial Trophy in 2012. He is also a 3 times Stanley Cup Champion and won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2009. He has also won the Ted Lindsay Award in 2012 and the Art Ross Trophy 2 times. He has also won the World Championships Fest Forward and the Wold Championships Most Valuable Player in 2012. Evgeni Malkin wears the #71 jersey for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
