Selected by the Calgary Flames as the 66th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Fox’s early promise was evident. Before reaching the NHL, Fox honed his skills in the U.S. National Team Development Program. Later, in April 2019, the Hurricanes traded these rights to the New York Rangers. This move paved the way for Fox’s entry into the NHL, where he made his debut for the Rangers in 2019. In his rookie season, he made an immediate impact tying for second place among all NHL rookie defensemen in goals and ranking third in assists and points.
Adam Fox’s contributions are not confined to the NHL he has also been a proud representative of the United States in international play. He has donned the Team USA jersey at both the 2017 and 2018 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships showcasing his skills on the global stage.
