Vegas is coming into this game after they thumped defending Stanley Cup champions, Colorado Avalanche 7-1 in their last game. The goals were spread across the team as Paul Cotter, William Karlsson, Keegar Koleslar, Gage Quinney, Michael Amadio, Kaedan Korczak and Chandler Stephenson all scored for Vegas. Goaltender Logan Thompson had an amazing outing as he only let in 1 goal out of the 26 shots that he faced.
The San Jose Sharks on the other hand come into this game on the back of a 3-1 win over the LA Kings. Goals from Thomas Bordeleau, Scott Harrington and Evgeny Svechnikov ensured the win for the Sharks.
