The game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vegas Golden Knights will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday, November 8 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will welcome the Vegas Golden Knights to the Scotiabank Arena for an NHL game on Tuesday. Toronto defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1 in their last game courtesy of goals from Calle Jarnkrok, William Nylander and John Tavares.
Goaltender Erik Källgren saved 29 shots and finished the game with a save percentage of .967. After the game, Erik spoke to the press and praised his side’s defensive resilience. He said, “I’m just happy about the win. We played so solid defensively. Games like this make it very, very easy for me.”
The Vegas Golden Knights on the other hand were involved in a 10 goal thriller against the Montreal Canadiens and won the game 6-4. Reilly Smith scored two goals while Nicolas Hague, Keegan Kolesar, Jonathan Marchessault and Nicolas Roy scored one goal each as Vegas won a high scoring game.
After the game, Marchessault said, “We cannot take winning for granted. I think winning in that league is pretty hard. We got a reality check last year but I think we’ve got to have more of that mentality of just working hard and taking it one game at a time and if we keep that mentality, I think we’ll be fine this year.”
