The game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on Saturday, November 12 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will welcome the Vancouver Canucks to the Scotiabank Arena for an NHL game on Saturday. Toronto were beaten 4-2 by the Pittsburgh Penguins in their last game. Zach Aston-Reese and William Nylander were the only two players to score the goals from the Maple Leafs as the rest of them were not able to get past Casey DeSmith in the Penguins goal.
Toronto coach Sheldon Keefe lauded his opponents after the game and said, “A clinic by the Pittsburgh Penguins in terms of how they defended. We were on the wall a lot, but couldn’t find our way through that. That’s really the difference in the game.”
The Vancouver Canucks on the other hand were soundly beaten the Montreal Canadiens 5-2 in their last game. Goals from Nils Hoglander and Luke Schenn were not enough as the Canucks fell to a three goal loss. Goaltender Thatcher Demko saved 24 of the 29 shots aimed at him and finished the game with a save percentage of .828.
