The game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on Monday, November 21 at 7:30 PM ET.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will welcome the New York Islanders to the Scotiabank Arena for an NHL game on Monday. Toronto defeated the Buffalo Sabres 5-2 in their last game. William Nylander scored a brace while John Tavares, Mark Giordano and Calle Jarnkrok scored one goal each as the Maple Leafs recorded their 10th win of the season.
Toronto coach Sheldon Keefe said after the game, “Defensively, I thought we were exceptional. Between how we defended and then how Matt Murray played in goal, we were a tough team to beat.”
The New York Islanders on the other hand lost their game 5-2 to the Dallas Stars. Mathew Barzal scored two goals for New York as his other teammates found it hard to get past Jake Oettinger in the Dallas net who finished the game with a save percentage of .931.
Islanders coach Lane Lambert spoke after the game and said, “We didn’t finish strong enough. Defensively in our zone, we had a couple of breakdowns, and when we broke down they took advantage of us.”
