Toronto Maple Leafs will welcome the Montreal Canadiens to Scotiabank Arena for an NHL preseason game on Wednesday. Toronto comes into this game on the back of a 4-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators in their last game. Center Calle Järnkrok scored both goals for the Maple Leafs as he had three shots on goal. Winger Michael Bunting dished out two assists and finished the game with two points after having four shots on goal.
The Montreal Canadiens on the other hand have only played one preseason game so far which was against the New Jersey Devils.The Canadiens lost the game 2-1 as right winger Cole Caufield was the only player to score a goal for them. Caufield managed only one goal despite having five shots on goal. Mike Hoffman was the other player who tried his best but could not find the breakthrough despite having three shots on goal.
