The game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday, November 1 at 7:00 PM ET.
The Tampa Bay Lightning will welcome the Ottawa Senators to the Amalie Arena for an NHL game on Tuesday. Tampa won their last game 4-3 against the San Jose Sharks courtesy of goals from Alex Killorn, Ross Colton, Victor Hedman and Nikita Kucherov. Goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy had a good game as he finished the game with 24 saves and a save percentage of .889.
Lightning head coach Jon Cooper was grateful that some of his big players turned up at the crucial time during the game. Speaking after the game, Cooper said, “Some big-time players made some big-time plays down the stretch for us.”
The Ottawa Senators on the other hand lost their last game 5-3 against the Florida Panthers. Nick Holden, Shane Pinto and Brady Tkachuk got on the scoresheet for the Senators but that was not enough as Florida won the game by two goals in the end.
Ottawa head coach DJ Smith said after the game, ‘The first period is, well, it’s our worst period of the year for sure. Just weren’t ready when the game started. We battled back and we gave up a goal at the end of the second period, and then we gave up a goal with three minutes to go. I mean, we kept battling but we’ve got to be better than that.”
